A Manufacturing Partner for the Future

Our History
Monroe Tool & Die was started in the 1964 by Robert Gingrich and his father as a Tool and Die facility in Williamstown, NJ. Originally a humble facility, the team expanded to a 1 story building with lathe and stamping capacity. They consulted on projects for clients ranging from Campbell's Soup to Boeing. In 1995, Robert retired and sold the business to Steven Kennedy. Steven has worked at MTD since 1980 where he originally swept the floors as he learned the trade. In just 10 years, Steven moved from sweeping the floors to managing the entire company.
With over 34 years of manufacturing expertise, Steven Kennedy has expanded the facility to include CNC machining, wire edm, expanded stamping capacity up to 150 tons, water jet cutting, and other value added processes. His partnerships across the region and long history in manufacturing allows him to quote business quickly and effectively. Steve wants nothing more than to keep the long standing American tradition of manufacturing alive and is excited to bring his expertise to the table for your venture.
